What we do: Our products
CROPPAK
CropPak® is our main Packhouse Management Program
EARLY DAYS
Originally known as PAKTRAK, development started in 1991 as part of Positive Software’s early venturing into application design. It was originally designed to track packaging supplies in the packhouse - a packhouse packaging control program.
EVOLUTION -
TANDEM DEVELOPMENT WITH THE INDUSTRY
CROPPAK
has since undergone considerable development each year to reflect
industry changes and has been continually enhanced to suit the needs of
users. CROPPAK products are the
preferred Packhouse software of 90% of pip-fruit and kiwifruit
packhouses in the Nelson Region.
WORKING WITH
PACKHOUSES BIG AND SMALL
CROPPAK is a comprehensive packhouse
management software suited to any size pip-fruit packing
shed. It is run in conjunction with CropPak
Pallet Printing Software which is suited to use with any
Exporter.
KEY FEATURES
Some of the key features of the CropPak System include:
INBUILT HELP SYSTEM AND DOWNLOADABLE MANUAL Comprehensive context (F1) help is available throughout the program. A printed help manual is available.
CROP FORECASTING
Ability to enter grower Crop Forecasts by variety, block and size and
allocate percentages to different exporters. This enables packhouse
production to be evaluated pre season. Once pallet cards have been
saved, forecast/actual graph reports become available.
BACKUP
The CropPak SQL server backup utility generates a log backup up at
regular intervals and full backup daily.
INVOICES AND STATEMENTS
Available by run or date range, detailed grower invoices show bin and
packing charges for fruit packed for all exporters with ability to
credit for non-export bins, breakdown packaging costs, enter payments
and generate statements, aged and current balance reports. This system
is well proven and gives additional value from the software.

COMPREHENSIVE REPORTING
The
program has a complete range of packing shed management, production and
grower reports. The reporting module is extensive and includes an
"Ad-Hoc" feature for self configured reports based on the information
you require.. Comprehensive grower reports give additional value from
the software and enable growers to evaluate production trends. Reports
give totals in units, kilograms and TCE’s and show average fruit size
and packouts. Reports can be directly accessed by growers allowing them
to view real-time online reports of packed product and inventories (see
the Crop Manager page).
DATA INTEGRITY
CHECKING
Recalculate option for packed data/bins dumped etc verifies data
integrity.
AUTOMATED
DOWNLOAD AND UPDATE OF PIITSA MASTERDATA
Update
of master-data is made easy with an automated facility. This accesses
the host web-site, downloads relevant data, extracts data files and
updates your system. The Enza and Mr Apple contract forms allow sheds
to check for required clearances, material numbers etc for each growers
fruit in advance.
PALLET CARD
PRINTING
Suited
to any exporter, CropPak makes pallet documentation simple and
accurate. Validations eliminate data-errors. The Enza Pallet
Program is tailored to Enza requirements, another is used for Mr Apple
and yet another is used for other exporters.
